About the Series:
The Nonprofit Partnership is teaming up with OpenedEyes to start the tough conversations that we need to have. It doesn’t matter where you are on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion spectrum. It doesn’t matter what color your skin is. It doesn’t matter your sexual orientation. It doesn’t matter if you’re a nonprofit employee starting out or the leader that has been at the helm for years. All are welcome and encouraged to join in the conversation. Tune in to this series to have important conversations, learn something new and open our minds!
Please note – this series is for you, the attendee. Engagement via video/audio is strongly encouraged but we’d never turn someone away who’d prefer to soak up the information. Whatever your level of comfort or knowledge, we want you to find benefit. Save your spot now - there is limited space available!
Session 5: You’ve Heard it Before and You’ll Hear it Again: There Isn’t Community without Unity
Join the OpenedEyes team as they cover servant leadership and group cohesion as it relates to the positive growth of our organizations and our community as a whole. A more inclusive environment leaders to greater productivity, which is good for all. That’s fact – so why does this continue to be a difficult hurdle? We’ll discuss:
Servant Leadership and why it matters
Barriers that exist in our organizations and in our community
Barriers that are placed upon us and barriers that are inherited
Influencing our community – positively!
And any questions or thoughts that you may have!
This is the last session in this series – but the conversation will not be over. Be sure to tune in to discuss next steps and what we need to address to keep the discussion, the education and the change propelling forward. You are needed!
