Please virtually join The Nonprofit Partnership and Dr. Susanne Kuligowski, Executive Director with Erie DAWN, for [Zoom Meeting] The HR Perspective: Employee Retention Practices in Nonprofits – SparkNotes Edition on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM.

A mountain of research has been carried out regarding employee retention. Much of this research has been done in coordination with the leadership and the frontline staff of a nonprofit organization – but… what about the Human Resources department?

While crafting her doctoral dissertation, Dr. Kuligowski noted that oftentimes, the HR department was left out of the important discussion regarding employee retention. She decided to change this trajectory. Through her conversations with nonprofit organizations, Dr. K pinpointed overarching categories:
1. Retention efforts
2. What retention means to nonprofits
3. Challenges
4. Inconsistencies

Is your nonprofit proactive or reactive when it comes to employee retention? Hint – proactive is the pro route!

This session is applicable for nonprofit leaders and human resource professionals at organizations of all sizes.

Please join the session prepared to ask questions and discuss what employee retention means to your nonprofit.

The Nonprofit Partnership's offices at The Susan Hirt Hagen Center for Transformational Philanthropy are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
