Please join The Nonprofit Partnership and Lydia Laythe for a new 4-part opportunity: “Interconnected: Different Experiences, Shared Understanding” a series toward understanding the intersection between trauma and cultural sensitivity.

The goal of this series is to increase our community’s understanding of trauma & cultural sensitivity, so we can build a more resilient & inclusive community that not only welcomes diversity but embraces the diversity that is already here. And by fostering inclusion & resilience, we know we’re building a strong, productive, and vibrant community.

All sessions will take place via Zoom. Attendees are strongly encouraged to virtually attend all 4 sessions, live. Please let us know if there is a session you cannot attend and we will do our best to make arrangements so you can get the full experience!

Session 3: Prepare Your Toolbox - Friday, February 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM
Session 4: Make it Happen: Action Planning - Friday, February 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM

Please join us for Session 1: Let's Talk About Trauma on Friday, February 5th at 10:00 AM!
The goal of this session is to bring everyone in the community to a shared understanding of the serious mental, emotional, social, and physical impacts of trauma & how to start working with these unique needs to see those who may be suffering silently, encourage & incentivize personal and community resilience, and broaden our understanding of the experiences of others.

Key Take-Aways:
- Trauma can have a lifelong impact on a person’s physical, mental, emotional, and social health.
- Understanding the impact of trauma can explain a lot of “confusing” or “problematic” behaviors.
- Resilience to trauma can be cultivated.
