The Pandemic Perspective: Keeping Volunteers Safe & Engaged During COVID-19
Please join The Nonprofit Partnership and guest experts for “The Pandemic Perspective” – a virtual meet-up series exclusively for NPP members.
About the series: Meet-ups will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays via Zoom. Each discussion will be a separate, specific topic led by an expert in that field. The expert will cover 5-10 minutes of best practices, tips and current thought leadership. From there, open discussion will commence (open discussion to include questions, stories, and struggles relating to the topic at hand). Attendance is limited to 12 registrants and audio/visual participation is strongly encouraged.
*Due to limited capacity – please only register if you are able to join. Each session will be unique and will take separate registrations – please come for what you need and leave what you don’t!
Registrants will receive Zoom details prior to the discussion time.
Session 3: Thursday, April 30th at 9:30 AM
Expert: Ashley Westgate, Community Coordination Lead with ServErie
Topic: Keeping Volunteers Safe & Engaged During COVID-19
A little about the meet-up: The stay at home order may be in place, but that doesn’t mean volunteers are no longer needed to assist life-sustaining nonprofits and services. What steps can a nonprofit take to keep an essential support, their volunteers, safe during the pandemic? Join ServErie, one of Erie’s largest volunteer efforts, for lessons they’re learning along the way.
This meet-up is meant for: nonprofit leadership and those involved in the management and coordination of volunteers!
