Please join Amy Machinski, Environmental Supervisor with the County of Erie Department of Health, for [Zoom Meeting] COVID-19 Prevention Checklist for Events on Wednesday, April 7 from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM!

The purpose of this workshop is to educate the nonprofit community, especially staff who plan and execute events, on how to safely host an event in 2021 – A.K.A., while complying with current COVID-19 mitigation orders!

Attendees will learn:

What the COVID-19 prevention check list is, where to find it, what’s on it
The kinds of events that can take place within the bounds of the current COVID-19 mitigation orders
What to expect from the Erie County Department of Health once the checklist is completed
This session will be geared towards nonprofit professionals with a responsibility for planning and executing events, including fundraisers and Executive Directors.

The level of learning for this workshop is beginner.

About Amy:

Amy works within our community as one of the Supervisors of Environmental Health and is responsible for overseeing the COVID Response Team through the Erie County Department of Health. Amy is new to the Erie County Department of Health but has extensive experience working within the community. Amy is also the Second Assistant Chief of the Northwest Pennsylvania K9 Search and Rescue Team. Amy has had the opportunity to assist many local businesses and organizations in the implementation of COVID-19 safety procedures and continues to assist the community and event planners.
