Please join The Nonprofit Partnership and Dr. Adrienne Riegle, President of The Script Project, for [Zoom Meeting] How White Supremacy Culture Impedes Cultural Responsiveness and What You Can Do About It, on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Most of us cringe at the label "white supremacists" as multiple negative images come to mind. Yet, understanding cultural characteristics of a society fraught with a political and economic history embedded in the fabric of our reality can go a long way in promoting effective antiracism efforts. On the heels of arguably the most polarized moment in our politics and following "cancel culture" controversy, we dive into brave conversation examining white supremacy culture and how it permeates our lives much more than we think. Together, we conceptualize ways to combat its negative effects.

Participants will:

Understand white supremacy culture means
Brainstorm concrete ways to dismantle effects of WSC in your personal and professional life
Leave with ways to bravely bring back your learning to your organization in order to promote inclusion and equity efforts

The Nonprofit Partnership's offices at The Susan Hirt Hagen Center for Transformational Philanthropy are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
