Forums
Connect with peers, share ideas, and learn through conversation-driven gatherings designed for nonprofit professionals.
Learning by Conversation
Some of the most valuable insights come from simply talking with others who understand the work. The Nonprofit Partnership’s forums create space for nonprofit professionals to connect, exchange ideas, and learn from one another in a collaborative environment.
Unlike traditional trainings, forums are designed to be interactive and discussion-based. Participants share real-world challenges, explore emerging trends, and gain practical insights from peers facing similar opportunities and obstacles. Whether you’re looking to talk through a current challenge, hear how others approach their work, or simply connect with colleagues in the sector, our forums provide a welcoming space to do so.

Peer Learning Forums
These conversation-driven sessions bring together nonprofit professionals around specific focus areas.
Participants share experiences, ask questions, and explore practical solutions together in a relaxed, collaborative setting.
Midday Marketing Meet Up
A forum for nonprofit professionals working in marketing and communications — or anyone wearing the “marketing hat.” These sessions explore topics such as storytelling, branding, digital strategy, and outreach while creating space for participants to share examples, challenges, and ideas.
The Fundraising Focus
Designed for development professionals and those responsible for fundraising, this forum provides a space to discuss donor engagement, campaigns, grants, events, and emerging fundraising strategies. Conversations often center around real-world challenges and peer insight.
Leadership Way
Leadership Way is designed for nonprofit Executive Directors and CEOs who want a space to connect with peers navigating similar leadership challenges. These sessions focus on strategic leadership, organizational management, and the unique responsibilities of leading a nonprofit organization.
Are you an expert in a niche area of fundraising, marketing, or nonprofit leadership? We welcome experienced professionals who are interested in facilitating a peer learning forum conversation and sharing practical insights with nonprofit peers. If you'd like to lead a discussion, please express interest here.
Additional Networking & Forum Opportunities
Mission & Ministry Meet Ups
Mission & Ministry Meet Ups bring together leaders from faith-based organizations to discuss the unique opportunities and challenges of mission-driven work. These gatherings provide space for conversation, shared learning, and connection among organizations serving the community through faith-centered initiatives. All are welcome to attend, but faith-based organizations are encouraged to join the conversation.

Networking Forums
These gatherings offer informal opportunities to build relationships across the nonprofit sector. Whether over coffee, lunch, or an evening event, networking forums allow participants to strengthen connections, exchange ideas, and grow their professional community.

Have an Idea for a Forum or Networking Opportunity?
Is there a conversation, topic, or networking opportunity you’d like to see offered through The Nonprofit Partnership? We’re always open to new ideas and collaborations that support the nonprofit sector. If you have a concept for a forum or gathering, reach out to our team — we’d be happy to talk it through and explore how we can help bring it to life. Email Emmy Geiger at EGeiger@YourNPP.org to begin the conversation.

With so many non-profits in Erie County, it is great to have resources and collaboration available through the Erie Non-Profit Partnership. I have attended several of the Nonprofit Partnership Day Seminars and I look forward to the content each year. With changes in policy and technology trends, it is also nice to have access to learning opportunities throughout the year. It is really nice to have a centralized organization to assist with our varying needs. Thank you!

Each of the (many) trainings that I have attended through The Nonprofit Partnership over the past… years has provided a valuable resource for professional development opportunity for staff and Board Members to the overall benefit of our organization [the Foundation for Sustainable Forests]. NPP trainings are focused, relevant and on-point for the needs of a small non-profit organization such as ours.
