Please join The Nonprofit Partnership and Lydia Laythe for a new 4-part opportunity: “Interconnected: Different Experiences, Shared Understanding” a series toward understanding the intersection between trauma and cultural sensitivity.

The goal of this series is to increase our community’s understanding of trauma & cultural sensitivity, so we can build a more resilient & inclusive community that not only welcomes diversity but embraces the diversity that is already here. And by fostering inclusion & resilience, we know we’re building a strong, productive, and vibrant community.

All sessions will take place via Zoom. Attendees are strongly encouraged to virtually attend all 4 sessions, live. Please let us know if there is a session you cannot attend and we will do our best to make arrangements so you can get the full experience!

Session 1: Let’s Talk About Trauma - Friday, February 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM
Session 2: Cultural Sensitivity – What & How? - Friday, February 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM
Session 3: Prepare Your Toolbox - Friday, February 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM
Session 4: Make it Happen: Action Planning - Friday, February 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM

Please join us for Session 4: Make It Happen - Action Planning on Friday, February 26th at 10:00 AM!
The goal of this session is to provide the much-needed space for individuals to apply the new information they’ve gathered in their own sphere of influence – be it personal or professional. We know every individual brings their own wealth of knowledge to these sessions, but oftentimes the series ends before giving participants the space to process and actively apply this information to themselves, their life, or their work. This session will create the space for application, practical questions, brainstorming, and discussion.

Key Take-Aways:
- The trainer/facilitator in this session is not the expert in your life/field/work/organization – you are.
- Most people have the information and resources they need to be trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, but sometimes are not given the time/space to plan their implementation and so this information can get lost in the shuffle.
- Creating intentional space and time to plan implementation increases your likelihood of follow-through and success!
