What We Do

Community Fund Drives Committee

Community Fund Drives Committee

The Community Fund Drives Committee was established in 1975 by the Erie Conference. The Nonprofit Partnership provides coordination support to the Committee and assists organizations during the planning phases. The objectives of the Community Fund Drives Committee are:

·         To act as a “review and recommend” body that sets a calendar of endorsed fund drives

·         To balance the capital needs of our community against the finite resources available

·         To assist nonprofit organizations in preparing a successful campaign

The Committee endorses local and regional nonprofit campaigns within Erie County that will solicit funds in excess of $500,000.

The Committee’s oversight excludes hospitals, churches, mosques, synagogues, and all preprimary through twelfth grade schools.  It also excludes Erie County’s five institutions of higher education:  Edinboro, Gannon, Mercyhurst, PSU/Behrend, and LECOM.

If you are interested in learning more about the process of engaging in a capital campaign in the Erie region, please contact NPP Executive Director, Adam Bratton, in order to schedule a time to discuss. Adam can be reached via email at or by phone at (814) 240-2490 ext. 4.

The Nonprofit Partnership's offices at The Susan Hirt Hagen Center for Transformational Philanthropy are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
