Neighborhood Outreach Coordinator
The Neighborhood Outreach Coordinator will work on behalf of both Our West Bayfront and the Bayfront East Side Task Force to connect residents of the west and east bayfront neighborhoods with resources, build connections among residents and with neighborhood networks, and gather input on neighborhood priorities. The role has a particular focus on assisting residents with applying for housing-related grant programs and similar resources, involving education about program criteria, working with individuals on the application process, and coordinating with staff and other agencies.
We are looking for someone with a strong passion for working with people and excellent interpersonal communication skills who is excited for the opportunity to work with a small and dynamic team, and to make a difference in the Erie community. The successful candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively with people with a variety of backgrounds and in a range of settings. Some computer skills for reporting, funding, and communication required. Reliable transportation throughout the West and East Bayfront neighborhoods is required. Both field work and office duties are required. This role includes irregular hours including occasional evening or weekend meetings. Mileage is reimbursed. The position is grant funded through December of 2024 and may not extend beyond that time.
Salary Range: $24/hour, part-time (20 hrs per week)
