PT Administrative Assistant

PT Administrative Assistant with Crawford County Coalition on Housing Needs, Inc.

The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical support to the Board Committees and the Coalition’s staff.
Provide general office support for the Coalition by addressing in-person office visitors, answer the telephone, process the mail and email, maintain the Coalition’s files (paper and electronic), manage office supplies, accept deliveries, and track and log purchases.
Accept, log, and code rent payments and financial donations. Deposit monies received in the bank. Code invoices for accounting purposes and payments.
The Office Assistant will be the Coalition’s primary liaison with its bookkeeping service, and will coordinate Board members to sign checks.
Maintain a tidy and welcoming office environment. Arrange for cleaning other shared areas of Liberty House.

The successful applicant must be an experienced office assistant, with references.
Applicants must be competent in performing computer-based tasks and functions, including email, word processing and spreadsheet preparation.
Knowledge of QuickBooks software is helpful but not required.
Applicants will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
The successful applicant will have strong office management skills, be competent using typical office equipment, and will pay close attention to details.
Must be able to obtain clearances.

Salary range: $16 - $18 per hour

The Crawford County Coalition on Housing Needs, Inc's mission is to collaborate with the community to identify the housing needs of the homeless and near homeless in Crawford County, and to advocate for, build, and manage decent, affordable housing to meet those needs. This mission is rooted in the belief that having a home is vital and necessary when addressing life challenges.

Our membership is a diverse cross-section of Crawford County residents who represent various agencies, clients, organizations, and businesses that are involved in housing issues.

The Coalition was established in 1987. We operate an emergency homeless shelter as well as transitional and affordable housing to help address local needs. We collaborate with many other agencies to conduct these programs as part of the wonderful Crawford County social service network.

The Nonprofit Partnership's offices at The Susan Hirt Hagen Center for Transformational Philanthropy are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
