Director of Mental Health Services

Job Description:

Join the region’s largest behavioral health system and help make a positive impact in the lives of children, families, and staff! This position will provide oversight and management for the day-to-day operations of the following areas in the Outpatient Mental Health Department: Medication Management, Outpatient Therapy, and other contracted services. The incumbent will report to the Chief Clinical Officer and have a pivotal role in building and executing a vision and strategies to strengthen the Agency’s culture of clinical excellence.

The successful candidate will be a passionate individual with the ability to lead a team and empower staff to provide quality, compassionate clinical care. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the department’s services as well as maintaining licensing and accreditations for all Outpatient Mental Health program(s) across agency and school-based locations.

The Director is responsible for quality outcomes, the administrative, fiscal, and clinical management of all assigned programs including collaborating with other internal/external stakeholders, adhering to outcomes, meeting regulatory standards, maintaining required productivity, staff training and supervision, and new program development.

This position supervises (2) two Mental Health Services Managers and reports directly to the Chief Clinical Officer. The position also collaborates as part of an interdisciplinary team with several other clinical directors.

Position may require providing direct clinical services with clients if/when needed.

**$3,000 Sign-on Bonus*** ($500 at the time of hire, $1,000 after three months and $1,500 after successful completion of six months).

Starting salary to be based on licensure status and experience.


Salary: $60,000 to $66,000
